Indianapolis vs. JacksonvilleWebsite Gambling Article by - Who2beton.com - Oct 20, 2007 Brought to you by Who2beton.com Finally, a Monday night match-up we can all finally look forward to. After struggling to stay awake while watching that pitiful excuse of a game last Monday night, I’ll finally be interested in what Tirico, Kornheiser, and Jaworski will have to say throughout the game. Indy comes into this game off their “Bye” week and used the time off to get healthy looking to add to its perfect 5-0 record. Jacksonville took Houston out behind the woodshed last week, and got scoring contributions from both sides of the ball. QB Manning and the Colts return to the scene of the crime from last season when the Jags rolled up 300+ yards on the ground and rolled them by a 44-17 final count. In terms of the all time series between these AFC South representatives, the Colts hold a 9-3 regular season edge. They’re also 4-2 in Jacksonville, but have split their last four visits. Statistically, the Colts hold a solid advantage on the offensive side of the ball. QB Peyton Manning has led his team to its 5-0 start by averaging a shade under 33 PPG and 403 YPG. Defensively, they’ve held their opponents to a respectable 18 PPG and only allowed opponents to average 173 YPG through the air. Jacksonville has gotten off to a slow start on the offensive side of the ball only averaging 20 PPG, but their defense has continued its torrid play only surrendering a measly 12 PPG. Spread players take note, the colts are a perfect 4-0 ATS their last four appearances under the bright lights of Monday night, while the Jags are a solid 5-0-1 ATS the L/6 times they’ve been installed as home underdogs. The 'Over' is 7-3 in the Colts last 10 Monday Night games, while the Jags have seen the 'Over' cash 5 of the L/7 times they've been installed a home underdog up to 3 points. This looks to be the best Monday night match-up thus far, so tune your HD sets to ESPN at 8:30 ET to see what transpires.
