Utah vs. TCUWebsite Gambling Article by - Who2beton.com - Oct 18, 2007 Brought to you by Who2beton.com Utah saw their record climb above the .500 plateau for the first time this season after taking it to the San Diego State Aztecs last week. The 23-7 road win notched them their third straight victory and first win in the Mt. West Conference. TCU rebounded from their loss to Wyoming the week before with a 38-36 road win at Stanford last Saturday. Both these clubs enter tonight’s game the healthiest they’ve been all season, and their recent play on the field reflects it. TCU had a heck of a time scoring the first month of this season, but put forth 24, 21, and 38 points on the board the last three weeks. RB Aaron Brown is the main reason why as the Horned Frogs ground attack has flourished the last month averaging 152 YPG. Their scoring average is also up to 28 PPG. The Utes suffered a multitude of injuries to start the season, and it really put threw them behind the proverbial 8-ball right out of the gates. That being said, it’s now a new season for the revitalized Utes and HC Whittingham’s troops aren’t out of the Mt. West picture just yet. A number of scenarios would have to go their way to have a shot at winning the conference, but the Utes boast a battle tested club that could potentially pull it off. These two clubs have only met twice in Mt. West competition (1-1), but the Utes own the series advantage with a 3-1 lead. The Utes embarrassed the Horned Frogs in Salt Lake City last year (20-7), and that was the last time HC Patterson’s club lost a game for the remainder of the 2006 season. Spread players should note: TCU is a poor 1-5 ATS their L/6 Thursday night appearances, while the Utes are 5-1 ATS their L/6 vs. +.500 teams. This is a crucial Mt. West showdown that can’t be missed, so tune your sets to VERSUS at 8:00 ET to see how this one turns out…. SLAM YOUR MAN!!!
