Dallas Cowboys vs. Chicago Bears

Website Gambling Article by - Mike Rose from Who2beton.com - Sep 23, 2007

All Eyes will be on the Windy City Sunday night as the (2-0) Dallas Cowboys take on the (1-1) Chicago Bears. Last week saw the Cowboys go into Miami and hand the Dolphins a 37-20 beat down in their own house. They put forth a brilliant second half that saw them turn a close game into a rout. They forced a number of turnovers, executed offensively, and cruised to the easy road win and cover. Chicago tripped and stumbled all over themselves en route to their first win of the season last week vs. KC, but the 10-point final spread made those that backed KC very happy.

It’s only the first quarter of the NFL season, but this is a very crucial game for both clubs since a post-season match-up is certainly within the realm of possibility. If indeed these clubs butt heads in the post-season, Dallas holds a 2-0 SU mark, but that’s a discussion we might have further along down the road.

These teams last met back in 2004, when “The Tuna” and the Cowboys knocked off Lovie and the Bears by a 21-7 final count on Turkey Day. The landscape in the NFC has changed dramatically since then, as the Bears are the defending NFC Champs, while Dallas looks to make a splash in this year’s post-season.

Dallas looks to be the cream of the NFC East crop for now, while the Bears still have to be considered the frontrunners in the weak NFC Central. Chicago knocked off six of their eight opponents at Soldier Field last season with the only losses coming to Miami in shocking fashion and the Packers the last game of the year when many of their starters were given the night off. Dallas finally figured out how to win on the road last season after going either .500 or sporting a losing mark the previous seven seasons.

Will the Cowboys keep their perfect mark intact, or will the Bears continue their home dominance regardless of the fact that they’re 1-7 ATS their L/8 games. Tune to NBC at 8:15 ET Sunday night to find out.

SLAM YOUR MAN!!!
